The First cheque!

                                      The First cheque!

It was a heavy rain and I was taking long steps to cut the maximum distance in a single attempt. Walking faster than my regular walk after finishing my job. I really could not figure out my thoughts were running faster or my breath, I was hardly concentrating on my breathing. My focus was on reaching to my apartment as soon as possible. Finally, I had reached there, quickly opened the door, put my phone on the charger and called my dad.

"Hello, papa I got my first job salary!" without even care that he is listening or not. After this I realized that I was breathing like 'Darth Vader' from the Star Wars.

Yeah, I nailed it...!!

First salary is quite excited. From the last week of the month you would start to make new plans, making a list on cart of different online shopping sites. Downloading Zomato to get best hotel where you can celebrate your happiness. SO MANY PLANS...!

Then each day of the last week spending like an era or century of your life, feeling like time has stopped somewhere. You cannot concentrate on your job's work. Daily offers of 'Book my shows' and 'paytm' makes you more desperate.

And then Finally......!!!!!

On the first day of the month you have a smile on your broad pretty face. Blushing like new bride, in office meetings. Checking your watch for many times and thinking about how much time it will be taken by 'samay chakara' to reach at 7 PM.

And then you finally get a cheque...!!

Yeah, I don't know about others folks but when I received my first Cheque I had tears in my eyes. I got emotional and suddenly all plans of spending money here and there vanished. Strong feeling was coming out of my mind that I will not spend single bucks out of this. I will save each and every single penny of it. From suddenly the plans of going to hotels diverted to going temple and give it to Bhagavan, Feeling of You are atheist have left me alone.

You cannot spend single money out of it, because you don't want to spend it, that’s fact! Because you realized that each rupee contains your hard work, the sacrifices you made to reach at this stage, that relationships which is broken just because you couldn't give them proper time to them, that food which is good but it does not contain your mom's touch and love. For me, I have sacrificed a lot for this. I remembered people were laughing on my idea to go to Mumbai without any Job. This money is answer of all big mouth relatives. I know the amount is not to so big but it is sufficient to complete my all my desire and my one obduracy to be Independent.

Getting first salary of your life is one of the best moment in your life. Because first time you earned something by yourself. You just have experienced the taste of Independence. Specially in India, here it is hard to get this Independence because of our parents, because of ''log kya kahenge". Our parents have tendency that they cannot see their child as poor or failed person at some point it is good and acceptable too.

But somewhere this thing is crossing each and every limit. From the birth, your parents spend money on you. But my thinking is that, that their job is completed when you complete your graduation. Giving you best education, giving you shelter, food till childhood, is essential. But after that it is your job to fight problems of your life. They are spending money for your school education. Then your college then helping you to get job, then helping you for getting home, then paying money of your marriage and then what do you want, you want that they will feed your children too???

Like for coming in this word someone have to cut your umbilical cord, like that for coming in this real word you have to cut the emotional cord of your parents. I know it's hard and tough too but at least try start somewhere from small salary. Learn to stand up on your feet, if you will fall down your parents will be there that I can guarantee you.

पर,किसी का सहारा लेते लेते खुद बेसहारा मत बन जाना।
