The Sunday!
The weekend has come!
‘TITI...TITI...TITI...’ alarm was ringing on my mobile.Slowly and gradually picking up its sound decimal from louder to a much whole building can listen louder level. Because my mobile knows his master that he will not move an inch until it will be so unbearable that even Dinchak Pooja can’t hear it.
Finally, after snoozed my alarm 16 times. I and my whole building woke up at 5’o clock in the morning. If you asked me about my strength then I must tell you that I can complete my morning routine without open my eyes. So, I had completed almost of routine. I pushed the button of the geyser and then waiting for hot water and thinking about my life!!
“Until when I have to wake up in the morning like this? When this training period will over?” counting days on my fingers.
“From now, it will be only 5 days left then I will be going to a job as normal employ on a normal time.” talking with myself while closing my eyes (Second ability!)
Suddenly I realized that my counting was wrong somewhere.
“There would be some mistake! Let me check. Training has only 4 days left and as per my calculation, 5 days left. Something is fishy here!” I unlocked my phone and opened my phone’s calendar.
Then I realized something that broke my heart for a moment.
“It was a Sunday!”
Nothing else is more painful than waking up at 5’o clock on a Sunday morning. People who want to hold a silence for me, can hold it after reading this post and share your pain with hashtag #Feeling_pitty_for_lay in the comment section.
But I am a very positive and optimist person. Instead of saying the glass is half empty, I used to say at least it’s half full. In Gujarat, I haven’t get that half. So, next thought will come to my mind is that now I will sleep as much as I can!
I was happy. Even in rough pages of Vedas, it is written that a human will almost get an ultimate pleasure when they will realize that they have some more extra Nanosecond for sleep. I had a full day as per that you can calculate my pleasure. (For Commerce reader take 1 Nanosecond=10-9 )
Hallelujah, It’s Sunday! It’s three magical words for every employee who works in corporate wants to hear. Sunday is the day for the soul, on which they can roam wherever they want to roam. Wear whatever they want to wear without worrying about Human Resource department. Do whatever you want to do. Eat whatever you want to eat or watch Friends again and again and again on your laptop with ice-cream or Popcorn or homemade snacks.
For me, it is a day when the uncle who lives on the 4th floor plays Rafi sab and Lata Mangeshkar’s old songs in the morning. It is a day when the most exotic smells of new recipes come from the neighbor’s kitchen. It is a day when the whole crowded area of ‘Garage gully’ turns into Lord’s ground where thousands of young Sachin Tendulkar play and enjoy their day.
Happy faces of children because their papa finally has a time for themselves. Finally, the promise of purchasing new cycle or the promise to buy new cricket bat or the promise of taking his princess to the hotel for lunch will complete today.
It is the day when even radio plays 'Hariharan' and 'Arijit' to make a perfect mood for couples who haven’t seen each other's faces for weeks. Whose conversation limited to ‘where are my shocks and have you completed your lunch or not!’. It is a day when they go to watch a movie or just walk through the 'Marin Drive' by holding each other's hands and spend some quality time with each other.
It is a day when all moms call their child to ask his/her life’s whole biography, bibliography, anatomy, physics, chemistry (Ohk not that one!) and it is the same day when you must hear all the problems which your mom facing like Vimala bai’s irregularity from her work. Saku chachi’s son’s wife’s serious affair and the list of the occasion which will happen in your home and in your hometown and in your family and on the Earth and also on Mars too.
Sunday, the day of happiness, fun, dream, wishes, excitement, enjoyment. Though here people are very busy in their work, in their shops, in mills and factories but on this one they live for their family for their children for their loved ones for their own self.
I still remember that my father used to take us to garden or fun-fair on these days. It was the best childhood memories in my life. Many people have many stories about Sundays. If you feel that your story is interesting then you can send me via email. If it is really interesting then I will upload on my blog.
Till then have a great week ahead.
